Berkadia represented the seller, Cavan Cos. 2. Cushman & Wakefield arranged the $38M sale of Koll Cotton Center, a portfolio of seven renovated light industrial buildings totaling 228.6KSF in Phoenix. The seller was TerraCap Management, LLC and the buyer was G.W. Williams Co. Dominium is planning a 215-unit Build-to-Rent community near the new Home Depot store on Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway and Stonegate Road in Maricopa. Maricopa Stonegate would feature two-, three- and four-bedroom units ranging from 960SF-1,360SF. Dominium submitted pre-application materials earlier this month. The Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission has voted to recommend approval for a rezoning, preliminary development plan and preliminary plat for two adjacent industrial projects on 85 acres near Ryan Road and Arizona Avenue. The requests from Schnitzer Properties were part of the Commission’s Feb. 21 consent agenda. The requests cover two developments under one umbrella. They noted their members have encountered significant difficulty in navigating the White House Office of Management and Budget’s “opaque and unbalanced implementation,” risking delays and cost increases for vital housing, transportation, and water infrastructure projects funded by the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act. The former Grand Hotel site has been vacant for more than 20 years, has 1,000 feet of frontage along Idaho Road and is in a Qualified Opportunity Zone. The City plans to prepare and market the site to potential commercial developers.
