Giving Back
1. Lōkahi Traffic Engineering/Lokahi Teams have launched a scholarship program selecting nine high school students who plan on attending college in the fall of 2024. The students had to include reference letters and answer questions showcasing how they live up to the founding principles: teamwork, collaboration, cooperation, harmony and unity.
The Lōkahi Traffic Engineering scholarship recipients attending Arizona schools are:
- Jennifer Garcia Vilchis, Arizona State University;
- Ivan Jimenez Pineda, Harvey Mudd College;
- Rya Marquez, Northern Arizona University;
- Ava Usher, Northern Arizona University, and
- Olivia Wong, University of Arizona.
The Lōkahi Teams recipient attending an Arizona school is Milandeep Kaur, Phoenix Community College.

2. The Southern Arizona CCIM Chapter announced the pinning of three new Certified Commercial Investment Members. The new designees are:
- Monica Humbles, Schnitzer Properties;
- Diana Dessy, Rancho Sahuarita Management Company, and
- George Andros, Andros Properties.

3. Small Giants launched the Academy for Construction Excellence, a training program developed to help construction professionals reach their full potential through tailored training and guidance. Classes and seminars will take place at the Small Giants Learning Lab in Phoenix.

4. Chicanos Por La Causa Board of Directors has appointed Alicia Nunez as President & CEO. Prior to the promotion she held the titles of Acting President & CEO, CFO and VP of Business Enterprises since joining in 2006.
5. Nadel Architecture + Planning announced the promotion of Rick Redpath to Managing Director and Principal.
New Hires
6. Steffanie Dohn has joined McCarthy Building Companies as VP of Government Affairs for the firm’s Renewable Energy group. Her role will primarily consist of helping the company to pursue renewable energy developments before government stakeholders.
7. Chermack Consulting Group has hired Candace Rosauro as VP. Prior to her hiring, she worked at Layton Construction as a director.
8. Garver has hired Kyle Cole as Water Business Team Leader in Arizona.
9. Transact Commercial Interiors announced Julie Lewis has joined the firm as Director of Sales Strategy.
10. Danielle Torres was hired at Nadel Architecture + Planning as Senior Project Manager.
11. CBRE has hired Buzz Isaacson as First VP and Annie Lewis as Marketing Coordinator.
12. Community relations and creative services agency Gordley Group has hired Megan Riehl as Media and Marketing Coordinator.
