1. The Terracon Foundation announced a $10K grant to Arizona State University to support Terracon scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students specializing in geotechnical or pavement engineering.

2. The Arizona Masonry Council honored Mike Gray with the Clem Hellmann Leadership Award at its 2023 annual meeting in Flagstaff, recognizing him as an individual who has made significant contributions to the masonry community through leadership and involvement in initiatives that have resulted in industry-wide impact.
Company News
3. Catellus Development Corp. has named Vestar to serve as the primary property manager for the Novus Innovation Corridor’s hospitality district in Tempe. Catellus will maintain responsibility for leasing space in the district.
4. Rosendin Electric recently announced several leadership changes. Mike Greenawalt will step down as CEO at the end of 2023. Chief Operating Officer Keith Douglas has been promoted to the CEO role. Also taking effect at the start of 2024, Matt Hisaka will fulfill his promotion from VP and Chief Accounting Officer to CFO, and Senior VP Angie Hart will become Executive VP for the West Region.
5. Corporate real estate advisory and outsourcing service firm Mohr Partners, Inc. is expanding operations and opening a new office in Phoenix. The company has chosen Jean Jensen to serve as the office’s Market Leader and Broker of Record, and Emily Carden will act as Senior Associate.

6. National extended stay lodging firm WaterWalk named Jim Anhut as interim president and chief development officer.
7. Mallerie Lacer has been promoted to Service Experience Manager at PIVIUM.

8. Tina West has been hired to serve as Executive VP, Client Advisory Group at SRG Residential.
9. Vestar has hired Carli Richards as its Director of Communications.
10. FCL Builders has added to its Arizona team with two new hires. Jamey Carpenter joined as a Senior Estimator, and Sean Burke as a Senior Project Manager focusing on industrial, cold storage, and food processing projects.
11. Ray Collier has joined Brinkman Constructors as a Project Manager.
12. NAI Horizon recently added two new employees. Brenda Reyes was hired as Client Coordinator, and Daisy Meza was hired as Marketing Coordinator.
