1. SDB Contracting Services recently hosted a charity golf tournament to benefit the Disable American Veterans Department of Arizona, raising $110K and bringing the total contribution over the past 15 years to $650K.

2. The Arizona Manufacturers Council awarded Queen Creek’s Mayor Julie Wheatley the 2023 Manufacturing Champion of the Year award for her work in bringing LG Energy Solution to the town.
3. Anita Verma-Lallian, CEO and founder of Arizona Land Consulting, has been accepted into the Forbes Business Council.
4. PK Associates announced Technical Designer Celine White has passed her Arizona State Fundamentals of Engineering exam.

5. Jim Tainter and his team will launch ProVest Commercial Real Estate Services in the Phoenix area. The property management company was formed in partnership with principals at Hanson Capital Group and will be based in Portales Corporate Center near Scottsdale Fashion Square. New members include Angel Estrada, Haley Fagan and Shelly Klie-Buckee.
6. Arcoro announced at the 2023 Partner Conference and Arizona Construction Workforce Management Summit the addition of two new members—HCSS and ABC Insurance Trust—to their HR Partner Network. Arcoro also added Aktion & Associates as a reseller and announced the launch of its own payroll processing service.
7. Modular home manufacturer Connect Homes is expanding its operations into Arizona with a 150KSF factory in Mesa’s Met 202 industrial area. This marks the company’s first expansion beyond its base in California.

8. Connor Klein was promoted from Technical Designer to Project Manager at the Scottsdale office of PK Associates. Klein joined PKA in 2021.

Retirements
13. After 21 years with the City, Peoria Development and Engineering Director Adina Lund has announced she will be retiring, effective Dec. 15.
