1. Electrical workers gathered last month at the We-Ko-Pa Golf Club in Fort McDowell to raise more than $262K for The Rosendin Foundation at its Inaugural Fundraising Golf Tournament and auction.

2. Governor Doug Ducey has announced his four appointments to the new Water Infrastructure Finance Authority Board. The designees are David Beckham, Buchanan Davis, Johnathan Lines and Andy Tobin.

3. Juliana Jervis has been promoted to Operations and Events Manager at the Arizona Association for Economic Development. She first joined AAED in 2019.
4. Marisa Palomo has been promoted to VP of Arizona at The PENTA Building Group.
New Hires
5. Braxton Hynes has joined the Arizona Association for Economic Development as its Member Engagement and Development Manager.
6. Michelle Acosta has returned to HDR, Inc. as Managing Principal of the Phoenix architecture practice.
7. Jeff Zimmerman has joined Estrella Partners LP as Director of Entitlements & Development for Estrella, the master planned project and community in Goodyear.
In Memoriam
8. Commercial Properties, Inc. announced the passing of “commercial real estate mogul” Calvin (Cal) Johnson. Cal had been a mentor to many through his efforts in supporting the local community and was a valued member of the CPI sales & leasing team since 1981.
9. The City of Maricopa announced Public Works Director Mike Riggs has passed away. Riggs began his work with the City as Parks Crew Lead in February 2014. He then became Parks Manager, Deputy Director of Community Services, before becoming a Director of Public Services and adding responsibilities including for Streets, Fleet, Facilities, and CIP.
