1. IFMA will host their Annual Charity Golf Classic on Sept. 22, with a sold-out event. Designated beneficiaries this year are Girls Can Build, Lokahi Teams, the IFMA Foundation and IFMA Student Chapter of Phoenix.

2. IFMA Greater Phoenix Chapter’s past President Marshall MacFarlane has been distinguished as an IFMA Fellow. This is the highest honor the association recognizes and he is one of the three to receive it this Year.
3. Patricia Olds will receive the 2023 Positively Powerful Woman Entrepreneur Leadership Award at the Positively Powerful Education Summit and Woman Awards Conference in recognition of her leadership success as an Economic Impact Advisor translating construction dollars into contracts, jobs, and wages. This year’s theme, “Passing The Torch,” will honor Women and Girls in ways that embrace the 2022 Unity theme of last year.

6. ProStar Realty expands a new commercial real estate division with its new lead Aleta Ruark, who will serve as director of commercial real estate. With this expansion, they will also hire additional agents to support the new commercial division.
7. Clear Title Agency of Arizona announced an agreement to acquire the operating assets of First Arizona Title. The acquisition will expand Clear Title by four additional branch locations and more than 1,000 customer accounts.

8. Ashley Popich was promoted to Managing Director – Phoenix at Zebra Projects, Inc.
9. PIVIUM has promoted Sidney Zanga to Operations Support Administrator.
Transitions
10. After more than 20 years with the company and 45 years in the industry, Mike Greenawalt will retire from his position as CEO of Rosendin Electric in 2025. Beginning in January 2024, Keith Douglas will assume the role of chief executive officer and join the board of directors as Greenawalt transitions to CEO emeritus. Matt Hisaka will be named chief financial officer as Lorne Rundquist transitions to CFO emeritus.
11. After almost 10 years as Eloy’s community development director, Jon Vlaming has resigned. He continues to work as an independent contractor on special projects while a national search is underway for his replacement.
