    Awards & Accolades 

    1. Business Facilities has announced the Arizona Commerce Authority as one of four winners of its first Economic Development Award in the State category. According to the announcement, the award recognizes efforts to attract “record-breaking projects and creating new pockets of economic growth.” ACA was specifically cited for its efforts in attracting semiconductor industry investment and pioneering innovative workforce solutions.

    2. The Greater Phoenix Chapter of the International Facilities Management Association recently elected new officers. Monisa (MJ) Nagarajan Gomathi, Facilities Project Manager with Terracon, was elected to her first term as President. The other officers were: 

    • Stephanie Jones, Allied Universal, VP of Communication and Community;  
    • Kathy Keating-Losinske, Lungaretti Flooring Solutions, VP of Special Events;

    3. Design-build construction firm Gray has announced it will open a regional office in Phoenix, occupying 2.4KSF in the 24th at Camelback II building.  

    4. Danson Construction celebrated 15 years in business on May 20.

    5. The City of Tempe has appointed Deputy City Manager Rosa Inchausti to serve as Interim City Manager, replacing departing City Manager Andrew Ching. 

    6. DLR Group has announced several promotions at its offices around the world. The employees and their new positions in the Phoenix office are:

    8. ORION Investment Real Estate retail leasing specialists Jennifer Eggert and Michael Achtman, known as Team Eggman, have been promoted to Senior VP. 

    New Hires 

    9. Valley Metro has welcomed two new members to its executive leadership team as the agency evolves preparing for expanded service and increased focus on riders and regional mobility: Melissa Boyles, Chief of Staff and Mike Pal, Chief Transportation Officer. 

    10. Next Level Steel has hired Lauren Fisher as VP of Business Development. 

    11. Nathan David has joined W.E. O’Neil Construction as Assistant Project Manager and Clint Bedard has been hired as Assistant Superintendent. 

    12. CBRE announced Jack Stickney has joined the company as a Senior Associate in its Phoenix office practice. 

    13. Kathy Thomas has joined the Prescott office of Landmark Title Assurance Agency as Unit Manager. 

    14. Garrett Hicks has joined PIVIUM as an AV Technician.
