1. Willmeng Construction has been named to Inc. Magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list for 2023. Featured in the May/June 2023 issue, the list is the result of a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture, whether operating in a physical or a virtual facility.
2. Camelot Homes has learned they are a Gold Nugget Award of Merit winner in four categories of the 2023 Gold Nugget Awards. Camelot Homes earned its Merit honors for Paradigm, which was honored for Best Single Family Detached Home (3,000SF – 3.499SF) and Best Interior Merchandising of a Model Home priced $900K-$1.5M; the Cavallo model at the Bronco community, which was honored for Best Single Family Detached Home (> 4,000SF); and the Willo-Hancock residence, which was honored for Best Renovated or Restored Single House and Best Interior Design of a Custom or One-of-a-Kind Home.
3. NAI Horizon Managing Director Laurel Lewis of has earned the SIOR office designation from the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS. Since joining NAI Horizon in 2010, Lewis has sold more than $100M in office properties and facilitated more than $180M worth of commercial real estate transactions.

4. HILGARTWILSON, LLC announced it is joining Colliers Engineering & Design. HILGARTWILSON will be rebranded and fully integrated into Colliers Engineering & Design’s operations. Under the firm’s partnership model, HILGARTWILSON’s senior leadership team will continue to lead the business in Arizona and become significant shareholders in Colliers Engineering & Design.
5. Shelby Duplessis announced the launch of Diversified Future. Diversified Future will provide real estate consulting and development, market analysis, strategy and planning, due diligence and feasibility studies, site selection and assemblage. It will also provide civil engineering and design services, construction management oversight and facilitate the permitting process. Duplessis will also continue to offer her expertise in public speaking and training workshops for companies and organizations.
6. The Construction Management Association of America and the National Association of Women in Construction have signed a cooperating agreement. NAWIC will use this agreement to help continue its vision of advocating for the value and impact of women in the construction industry. Under the partnership, NAWIC members will be able to pursue CMAA credentials for the Construction Manager-in-Training, Certified Associate Construction Manager and Certified Construction Manager at the CMAA-member rate.

7. Cushman & Wakefield has promoted President and COO Michelle Mackay to CEO. She will assume the role July 1, following the June 30 retirement of current CEO John Forrester. Forrester will remain with the firm as a strategic advisor until Dec. 31.

8. The City of Goodyear has hired Interim City Manager Justin Fair and former City of Phoenix Street Transportation Director Kini Knudson to serve as Deputy City Managers.
9. Mallerie Lacer has joined PIVIUM as Client Experience Specialist.
