1. Rosendin has announced its newest project built just for kids. Rosendin’s Tempe team redesigned its booth at Junior Achievement of Arizona into an interactive storefront demonstrating how an electrical company conducts business within the community. JA BizTown® is a hands-on program for 4th, 5th and 6th graders in Arizona that teaches students how to manage finances, run a business, and explore career paths, all while stimulating the economy. The program assigns each student a role that takes them on a personalized path to learn about owning a business.

2. Land use and real estate law firm Withey Morris has rebranded to Withey Morris Baugh to reflect the voice of a new generation in owner Adam Baugh. The firm represents commercial, residential, industrial, master-plan developers and landowners in virtually every corner of Arizona.

3. Maricopa County has promoted former Assistant County Manager Jen Pokorski to serve as County Manager. She begins her new duties April 7, replacing retiring County Manager Joy Rich.

4. Carrie Masters has been hired as CEO of St. Joseph the Worker, a Phoenix nonprofit with a mission to assist homeless, low-income, and other disadvantaged individuals in their efforts to become self-sufficient through quality employment. Skilled trades and construction services are among the industries to which SJW provides workers.
5. Brian Ackerman has joined Colliers in Arizona as an Executive VP in the company’s capital markets brokerage sector.
