1. Sun State Builders announced Mike Forst and Andrea Piering are now the sole owners, following Jim Chamberlain’s retirement. Both Forst and Piering have worked for Sun State Builders for 25 years prior to gaining ownership.
2. Kraus-Anderson Construction Co. acquired Sonoran Crest Construction, marking its first acquisition in its 126-year history. All 11 employees of Sonoran Crest will transfer their jobs to Kraus-Anderson.
Promotions
3. EMC2 Group, Inc. recently announced three promotions. Dave Gornick was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, and Fredy Pimental and Derron Bowyer were promoted to Principal.
4. Jennifer C. Thies has been promoted to Principal at Terracon Consultants, Inc.
5. Kelsey Sundet has been promoted to VP at BRR Architecture Inc.
6. Sundt Construction, Inc. promoted Lisa Mann to Assistant Controller, where she will oversee key accounting functions.
New Hires
7. EMC2 Group, Inc. recently hired Brickman Allen as President and Principal and Samantha Tejada as Marketing Manager.
8. McCarthy Building Companies has hired Ashley Hatley as Business Development Director.
9. Sigma Contracting announced two new hires: Denise Ballesteros as Assistant Project Manager and Ian Storlie as a part of the Project Development team.
10. Tori Dow has joined W.E. O’Neil Construction as an Assistant Project Engineer.
11. NAI Horizon hired Art Verdugo as Senior Associate. Verdugo joined the NAI Global Advisory Team working with Jeffrey Garza Walker and Brenda Walker.
