Groundbreakings
1. Construction has begun at the 28-story, 352-unit PALMtower (Palm Court Tower) near the Arizona Center in Phoenix.
2. Peoria will start work on an expansion to its Reclaimed Water Pipeline project to place a 7.6-mile pipeline running from the water reclamation facility on Beardsley Road to Paloma Community Park.
3. Groundbreaking is scheduled this month at the 26.6KSF Rancho Solano Preparatory School Lower Campus on Pima Road in Scottsdale.
4. A planned 460KSF expansion of the Red Bull, Rauch Fruit Juice & Ball Corp. Filling and Distribution Facilities in Glendale is expected to get underway before the end of the month. The expansion will bring the site up to nearly 1.2MSF.
Progress Reports
5. The Maricopa County Department of Transportation estimates work is approximately 45% complete on its 2.5-mile project to connect Deer Valley Road and Williams Drive across the Agua Fria riverbed. Completion of the two-bridge project is expected this fall.
6. The Maricopa Unified School District governing board has approved $3.7M for outdoor athletic facilities at Desert Sunrise High School, which is currently under construction and will serve as the city’s second high school when complete.
Completions
7. Work has completed on the Sunrise Tower expansion at Gila River Hotels & Casinos’ Wild Horse Pass. The $180M project is expected to open to the public on January 21st.
8. Work is nearing completion for the Epicenter at Agritopia (including The Tyler) mixed-use project in Gilbert. The development includes 49KSF of restaurant/retail space and 320 residential units. The first residential move-ins for The Tyler will happen this month.
9. NorthPointe at Vistancia officially opened its state-of-the-art clubhouse and 10-acre amenity park, The Sovita Club.
