The 8.5-acre (6.9 net acres) site once housed a farm house and accessory building but has been vacant since 2008. Giving Back 1. Valley Partnership has successfully completed its 2018 community project at Sunshine Acres Children’s Home in Mesa. More than 250 volunteers built a park, a garden, a football field and a playground in less than four hours. The new Golden Lane Apartments will feature a contemporary design “with strong building forms, punched windows and flat roofs,” according to Glendale city documents.
