Sales Transactions
1. Dynamic City Capital has paid nearly $102M for the 177-room Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town hotel. The seller was Global Miller Properties.
2. King Ranch an 1,864-acre master-planned community in Goodyear, sold for $22M. Harvard Investments purchased the property from HE Capital KR LLC.
3. VCI Development sold Via Alamos Apartments, a 160-unit apartment complex in Green Valley, to SubTo Fund for $19.5M. Both the buyer and seller were represented by ABI Multifamily.
4. Cushman & Wakefield brokered the sale of the 107-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott hotel for $18M in Phoenix to Moonstar Hospitality LLC. Bill Murney with Cushman & Wakefield represented seller MIG Real Estate.
5. DWG Capital Partners acquired AirBatIt’s 72.8KSF manufacturing and distribution building in Mesa for nearly $10M. Glen Miles of Glagary represented AirBagIt. Mountain America Federal Credit Union was the lender.
6. Ocotillo Oasis, a 42-unit apartment complex in Glendale, sold for $7M. Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale between two private parties.
7. Grower Alliance Properties LLC purchased 32KSF of industrial space at 891 E. Frontage Road in Rio Rico from Omega Produce Company Inc., for $3.65M. Jose Dabdoub with Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR represented the seller.
8. The Shoppes at Mirador Square, a 48.5KSF retail space, sold in Gilbert. Mindy Korth and JK Jackson of Colliers brokered the transaction between the two private parties.
9. ViaWest Group acquired a 23KSF industrial building in Deer Valley. Gary Cornish and Geoffrey Turbow at CBRE secured the property off-market. Media reports list the sale price at $4.6M.
Lease Transactions
10. Paluo Solar Energy has leased 192.6KSF in the Met 202 industrial park in Mesa from Eisenberg Company and Manulife Investment Management. The company plans to move in before the end of the year.
11. Concordance Healthcare Solutions and Diversified Foodservice have both signed leases for space in the Gateway 202 industrial park from Scannell Properties in Mesa. Concordance will move into its 111.3KSF space within the next 30 days. Diversified will take occupancy of its 98.6KSF space in February.
12. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. leased 11KSF of retail space at Wilmot Place, 6228 E. Broadway Blvd., Suite 150 in Tucson from DSW IREIF Tucson Retail Owner, LLC. Dave Hammack, Greg Furrier and Natalie Furrier with Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR represented the landlord along with James Hardman with DSW Commercial Real Estate, LLC. Kurt Kalocin with Christifulli Commercial Real Estate, LLC represented the tenant.
