The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors will vote on an incentive package and resolution of support for a Foreign Trade Zone designation for Nestlé USA’s planned 625KSF manufacturing facility on 139 acres at the SEC of Northern Parkway and Reems Road in Glendale
The Glendale City Council has already voted to approve the project, which will primarily focus on using oat products for coffee creamers. Council also voted to support the FTZ designation.
A review of the proposal conducted by Applied Economics estimated the 10-year economic impact for Glendale at $2.1B, including 1,900 direct construction jobs and $226M in construction activity. (Source)
