Sun Health is spending upwards of $100M to renovate its three life care campuses in the West Valley.

Among its projects is a 20-suite residence at Grandview Terrace Health and Rehabilitation in Sun City West.

The Weitz Co. is general contractor, Orcutt-Winslow is the architect, HilgartWilson is the civil engineering firm and Thoma-Holec Design is providing interior design services.

This new private residence adds to a 16-suite memory support residence that opened in December.

Since 2013, Sun Health has been working on renovation projects at Grandview Terrace, including an $8M renovation of its health and rehabilitation building, as well as strategic planning for the renovation of its independent living residence. Today, Grandview Terrace has 288 private residences in the six-story independent living building.

In addition, Sun Health has invested nearly $50M over the last five years at The Colonnade, a senior living life care community in Surprise. Some of that $50M includes projects Sun Health has underway and on its drawing board.

Plans also call for adding to its La Loma Village in Litchfield Park. Vern Swaback and Swaback Partners are working on an updated master plan for 300 acres on La Loma Village campus.
