Online subscription service Stitch Fix will open a 365KSF distribution center in west Phoenix near the future Interstate 10-Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway interchange.

The South San Francisco, California-based company delivers a monthly box of stylish women’s clothing to customers. The Stitch Fix distribution center will look more like an indoor garment district than a clothing warehouse. Around 600 employees will staff the facility at 5555 W. Lower Buckeye Road over the next 12 to 18 months.

Stitch Fix chose the Phoenix site because it offered the right amount of space, a great labor market and will be more easy to scale up operations, said COO Mike Smith.

The company worked closely with Greater Phoenix Economic Council and City of Phoenix in finding the building and closing the deal. There are no economic incentives for this relocation.
