Scottsdale City Council has accepted a rezoning proposal to make way for a new 277-unit apartment complex on Scottsdale Road south of Osborn Road at its Monday, Nov. 14 meeting.
Additionally, the council decided to enter into a development agreement with CRP/WP Scottsdale Owner, LLC to move forward with the proposed housing development.
The area is used for vehicle leasing, rental, sales and repairs but is mostly vacant at this time. The 4.2-acre site at 3220 N. Scottsdale Road would be rezoned to downtown/downtown multiple use.
The proposed development, “Alta Osborn,” would be a four-story complex with centralized, structured parking and two internal amenity areas, including a clubhouse and fitness space.
Restaurants, multi-family residential development and a hotel surround the property to the north, east and west. There is a mobile home park to the south.
