Revel Systems to Open Sales Office in Scottsdale, Hire 160

Revel Systems, a San Francisco-based iPad point-of-sale provider, is opening a sales office in Scottsdale.

Revel will open up shop in SkySong in south Scottsdale, with plans to hire 160 new employees in Arizona over the next three years.

The company makes an iPad-based POS solution for restaurant, retail and grocery establishments that also does integrated payroll, inventory tracking, customer relationship management and more.

In November, the company secured $100M in Series C funding. Revel expanded its operations worldwide with those funds. Last month it open a sales office in Northern Ireland and an IT division in Lithuania. The Scottsdale office is part of the company’s expansion with those Series C funds.

The Arizona Commerce Authority recruited Revel to open operations in the Phoenix area.
