Mayo Medical School has received licensure by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education for its $150M Arizona branch campus.
This nod of approval will allow Mayo to expand its medical school to its Mayo Clinic campus in Scottsdale and allow medical students to train at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix beginning in 2017.
Mayo’s foundation has raised about $50M toward its goal of $75M to cover half of the development cost. Mayo will kick in the other half.
