The Macerich-owned and operated Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale is about to get a whole new look.
This summer, the 1.2MSF shopping center will go through a big renovation process that will add new retailers and new features.
Construction on the mall is expected to start in the next 30 days and should be finished by the holiday season, said Christina Henning, Arrowhead Towne Center senior marketing manager.
The biggest change happening at the center is the addition of H&M to its lineup. H&M will be located in a 25,000-square-foot space and is expected to open by fall 2016. Several Arrowhead tenants will be moving to make room for the H&M store, Henning said. She added she anticipates several new brands coming on board in 2015.
Besides the new retailers, Macerich is redeveloping the center public space and food court of the mall and will add several amenity upgrades.
The redevelopment gives the mall’s operator the chance to bring in new retailers and restaurants that align with the mall’s customers.
