Banner Health has expansions underway at two of its Arizona healthcare facilities.

Currently sized at 92 beds, the Banner Behavioral Health Hospital at 7575 E. Earll Drive in Scottsdale will put in place an additional 78KSF, 72-bed inpatient tower to accommodate greater patient need.

The project is currently in the conceptual/schematic phase, according to Bill Smith, senior project executive at Banner. Orcutt-Winslow is the architect and Okland Construction serves as GC.

Planning is at a similar stage for the Obstetrics/Gynecology Clinic at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center. The facility’s existing 18KSF will be remodeled. In addition, a 9KSF expansion will feature four labor delivery rooms, two C-section operating rooms, four triage bays and 12 postpartum spaces, according to Smith.

Architectural planning has been awarded to The Devenney Group. Haydon Building Corp. is the GC.

Both expansions are planned to open in Q4 2016.
