We want to be sure and get our Wednesday January 3rd event on your calendars since it is right after a long weekend. Denise Lacey the Planning Branch Manager for MCDOT will be sharing her passion for planning and the road that led her there as well as a brief update on happenings at the County.
As a fourth generation Arizona native Denise Lacey has watched the growth and development of not just Maricopa County but the entire state. A Mom to four and Nana to eight Denise has a passion to ensure that the future of Arizona be one that she has influenced for the better. Over the last 23 years Denise has worked for the communities of Williams, Flagstaff, Fountain Hills, and Buckeye, as well as the private sector in jobs that cover the full spectrum of land use, community, and transportation planning.
Denise joined MCDOT in 2007 and has been in her current role, Transportation Systems Planning Branch Manager since 2013. Her journey in becoming a Planner included reaching for opportunities that seemed to be out of reach. Denise will share her passion for Planning and explain how her perseverance and love of community brought her into a career that fits her in every aspect.

Fred Gleeson is the Western Sales Manager for Specified Air Solution’s DOAS brands, Addison & Ecotron by Dectron. Fred has over 30 years of sales and management experience with commercial HVAC equipment manufacturers, primarily focused on DOAS and dehumidification. Throughout his career, he has been active in ASHRAE and served in various leadership positions including Alamo Chapter President and Region VIII RVC, Region VIII Treasurer. Currently, Fred is the 2018 CRC Chair for Region VIII.

Keith Wood/CAP & Jess Chism/Hartman Walsh Painting will present information about the project to reline the water supply pipes from Lake Havasu/Mark Wilmer Pumping Plant. The pipes extend from the plant 2,500-feet to the entrance of Buckskin Mountain Tunnel, 860 feet vertically, with access through three 3-foot manholes.

Mike Crowley holds a BS in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA from The University of Houston. Mike is a licensed professional engineer in 5 states. Professional organization involvement includes Fellow in Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Membership and activity on NFPA Technical Committees including NFPA 101 – Healthcare Occupancies and Means of Egress, and NFPA 99 – current Correlating Committee Chair, among others. He is a Life Safety Code and NFPA 99 instructor for NFPA. In addition, he is a Fellow Member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers. Mike has authored numerous technical articles and made presentations at various conferences and symposiums. He is Vice President Development and healthcare practice leader for Jensen Hughes. Mike provides consulting to architects, facility managers and building owners around the world.
