Will Construction Jump or Slump in 2018?

Construction was slow to recover from the recession, especially in Arizona. By 2017, the boom had resumed. But there are continuing concerns about labor availability and new pressures on materials prices, as well as uncertainty about the impact of a range of policy proposals and initiatives. How will these forces play out in the next 15 months? Ken Simonson, AGC’s chief economist and crystal-ball gazer, will offer his predictions about these questions—and yours.
