Are you interested in how municipalities establish spending budgets and priorities as it relates to infrastructure? The October luncheon program brings a panel of Mayors in to discuss how CIP budgets are developed, what departments get involved, the challenges presented during development , priorities, and FUNDING… Distinguished Panel members include:

the Honorable Mayor Mark Mitchell – City of Tempe
the Honorable Mayor Lana Mook – City of El Mirage
the Honorable Mayor John Giles – City of Mesa
Armed with this information it is the goal of the AZAPWA Government Affairs committee to encourage this membership (of engineers, contractors and service suppliers) to further support their own communities in developing more public awareness of what it really takes to build and maintain public infrastructure.
