By Tasha Anderson for Arizona Builder’s Exchange
On Tuesday morning, 33 people filled the meeting room at CCS Presentation Systems on north Hartford Drive in Scottsdale for another informative session of AZBEX 101, Arizona Builder’s Exchange’s recurring educational program about effectively utilizing the company’s service lines to find new business opportunities.
Publisher Rebekah Morris started by introducing the AZBEX staff and asking each attendee what they were hoping to take away from the session. While most of the attendees were interested in learning more about the AZBEX Database, others were interested in learning how to use the publication and the database to find ideal clients and stay up-to-date on the latest project information.
Morris first led attendees through the publication, pointing out how best to navigate through certain sections, find bid information, search for items of interest, use the articles’ ‘at-a-glance’ feature, and more.
She then guided them through the AZBEX Database, showing how it complements the publication by providing in-depth information, such as additional documents links, project-specific contacts, and updated status details. She also included an overview of some of the new features to be added to the database, including favorited projects and an area to submit project updates.
All in all attendees were pleased with the presentation and the new format of AZBEX 101, which now allows the sessions to be more interactive with the use of large touch screen televisions provided by host CCS. After the presentation, attendees were invited to stay for demonstrations so that the AZBEX staff could answer their questions one-on-one.
