EastGroup Properties is planning to develop a 96KSF light industrial building at 3110 N. Greenfield Road in Mesa south of the Loop 202 Red Mountain.
The single story grey shell spec space will feature a row of loading docks on the rear of the building. Construction will be load-bearing concrete tilt-up exterior walls and a steel joist and wood deck roof structure.
The shell will not put any mechanical features in place, and plumbing will be limited to roof drainage and under-slab piping. Electrical design will only be implemented for interior exits and the exterior parking lot.
The building exterior will feature a mix of greys and tan, with dark grey masonry and metal accents. Landscaping for the site will include palo verde, date palm and desert willow trees, with shrubbery including pink oleander, red and yellow yucca, and compact desert sage.
The GC has not been finalized, but EastGroup plans to choose from a recurring pool of firms in the near future. Construction is planned to begin in the second quarter.
