Architect David L. Schmitt has submitted plans to the City of Scottsdale for a 15-unit, 29.6KSF apartment complex at 2420 N. Hayden Road.

The Orangedale Court Apartments will serve residents with disabilities. Each unit will provide custom features to accommodate the particular needs of disabled residents, including lower cooktops and roll-in showers, among others.

Comprised of one two-story and one three-story building, the complex will offer one- and two-bedroom floor plans with private balconies or patios. An outdoor courtyard between the buildings will feature shaded walkways and an accessible swimming pool as well as barbeque and community space. Landscaping will feature a mix of desert-friendly trees and shrubbery.

Plans are currently under review by the City of Scottsdale. Construction is expected to begin in November.
